Life Science Career Event 2010 - Step into your future
The Life Sciences Career Event (LSCE) is an event organized by and for students in the field of Life Sciences, with the aim of broadening the horizon with respect to career opportunities. The first edition in 2008 was a great success, and therefore we aspire to make the 2010 edition even grander with more companies from the Life Sciences field. During this event we want to bring students into contact with companies, to give them an insight in the spectrum of job opportunities outside of academia. Our programme will be designed as such, that students can attend talks of several companies, but also browse around an information market where companies will be promoting themselves. PhD-students and staff of Maastricht University are ofcourse also welcome to attend! In the afternoon the programme will be enriched by presentations of the different research institutes of Maastricht University, to demonstrate the variety of biomedical research that is ongoing within their laboratories. Furthermore there will be a PhD forum, during which students can find out more about the up and downsides of becoming and being a PhD.
The Life Sciences Career Event 2010 will be held on March 10th, 2010 at Maastricht University, Universiteitssingel 40 in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

The whole event costs just €5,- for which you'll be able to get lots of information about companies and the Research School of Maastricht University, coffee and tea during the whole day, a lunch, the possibility to join workshops and a company speed-dating event, numerous goodies and a social drink afterwards. You can use the link below to access the Registration Form, where you will be asked to fill out some personal information, educational information and your bank details, so the LSCE 2010 can process your registration.
